WELCOME TO THE
WOODLANDS BOTANICAL GARDEN

The Woodlands Botanical Garden (WBG) is a community garden started as a ground-up initiative in July 2020. Spanning more than 2,500 sqm on the Northern slope of Woodlands Town Park East, this 9-storey garden boosts an incredible biodiversity that brings joy to all nature lovers. Purposefully created to also address the importance of mental wellness, this garden strives to bring peace and tranquillity to the mind and refreshment to the body and soul.

OUR ORNAMENTAL PLANTS

Boosting more than 200 varieties of ornamental plants, WBG aims to bring an especially spectacular range of flowering plants one might not commonly come across in other parks and gardens, such as the red passion flower (Lady Margaret)!

BUTTERFLY FRIENDS

With an ever-increasing number of butterfly species frequenting our grounds, the WBG aims to provide a safe and blissful haven for these angels of Nature, including red-listed species such as the common birdwing (SG’s largest butterfly)!

VAST WILDLIFE BIODIVERSITY

Come immerse yourself in the blossoming biodiversity of WBG which include dragonflies, birds, spiders and so much more, including uncommon blue-banded bees with alternating black and blue (instead of yellow) bands on their abdomen!
